Supervision Support

I find I am more effective when I can listen acceptantly to myself, and can be myself."

SUPERVISION SUPPORT

I believe that effective Supervision is collaborative, supportive and encouraging, and empowers a therapist to take ownership of their own client work with confidence. As therapists we aim to offer our clients the best possible space and conditions in which to explore their challenges in life. As Supervisees, I feel you should receive the same conditions in order to work safely and effectively for both yourself and your clients

As a Supervisor I will put your relationship with your client at the forefront of our work together and I use the 7 Eyed Model of Supervision to help us to look at the different relationship dynamics between client and therapist and therapist and supervisor.

I feel that Supervision should support Counsellors, help them to grow and develop as practitioners, maintain career longevity, avoid burnout and stay accountable to their Professional and Ethical standards.

It is also an opportunity to explore how you can get the best experience for yourself in this work. Looking at the unique gifts that you bring to your work and how you like to use your gifts and knowledge creatively within this work.

I aim to offer you a safe space to explore all areas of your experiences without judgement or fear and support you to work through any challenges with empathy and congruence.

I Provide Supervision Support To

Counsellors who are in training, as well as experienced Counsellors.

How I Deliver Sessions, and Charges

I offer supervision to anyone living within the UK working online via the platforms of Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Facetime.  Face to face sessions are available within Chippenham and Swindon, Wiltshire.

I offer 60- or 90-minute sessions either online or face to face.

I also offer a 30 minute introduction session to establish whether we could be the right fit, when you are seeking one-to-one supervision support. This would usually be conducted online.

I have over 20 years of Supervision experience within my previous profession of Social Work. However, I am currently studying to translate my Supervision skills into the Counselling profession and am in the role of trainee supervisor with Counselling Tutor. During this time I will be offering FREE sessions to Supervisees until June 2026.
